Eugene R. (Bud) Zappitelli, Trustee

Bud Zappitelli was elected to the Board of Trustees in November 2005. This is his first elected position.

The focus of Bud’s campaign was giving representation on the Board of Trustees to families with young children in the Plain Local School system.  In addition to serving on the Board of Trustees, he volunteers on the Plain Township Joint Parks District as a coach and a member of the New Albany Baseball Council where he chairs the sponsorship/fundraising drive.

He enjoys coaching his children, Gabi, Geno and Dominic.  Bud is a self-employed Financial Planner who holds a Registered Principal license.  He has been in the financial planning business since 1983.

He and his family are members of the New Albany Church of the Resurrection and the New Albany Country Club.  He and his wife Kathleen and their children have lived in Plain Township since 1998.

Dave Ferguson, Trustee

As a Plain Township Trustee, Dave believes he needs to represent and work with all stakeholders in the township and village to ensure we are working together for the benefit of all families in the New Albany community.

Dave Ferguson has lived in New Albany since 1998 and is actively involved in the community. He currently is the president for the New Albany Lacrosse Association, treasurer for the New Albany Youth Football Organization and a high school coach for the girls’ lacrosse team.  Dave has been married to his wife Kristin for 21-years; they have four children.

Dave is employed by American Electric Power Company. He is responsible for transmission regulatory services and has worked in treasury, business planning and finance. He graduated with a BSBA from Ashland University, and a MBA from Washington University, John M. Olin School of Business, in St. Louis, Missouri.
